Access to Labs
Students must request access and enable their EID account with the Cockrell School of Engineering to utilize all engineering computer labs, including those in CPE. Once registered, chemical engineering students automatically receive a $100 print quota each semester. This electronic allowance is displayed each time a student logs in to a computer.
A lab proctor will be on duty during lab hours to offer first level support. Questions beyond the scope of their role, or urgent requests, should be referred to the main university IT help desk.
The LabStats site shows what computers are currently available during lab hours. (Offline machines are still available, they are just turned off).
All lab rules must be followed. Failure to do so may result in your dismissal and you will not be allowed to return.
