The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering is located in the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Building (CPE) on the northeast corner of Speedway and Dean Keeton.
Getting to CPE
Our official address is 200 E. Dean Keeton Street, Austin, TX 78712.
The closest parking is in Speedway Garage (SWG), half a block north of CPE (enter on Speedway). Parking options and associated fees are posted on the Speedway Garage webpage linked above.
From Speedway Garage, walk down Speedway towards Dean Keeton Street (south), the CPE building is on the left side of the street. You will see a large red sculpture, known as the Clock Knot, on the CPE front lawn; our main entrance is on the far east side of the building marked “Chemical Engineering”. Once inside the glass doors our main administrative office is to your left (numbered room 2.802).
