Chevron has come on as the 2023 McKetta Tailgate sponsor of McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering’s much anticipated annual event, Saturday, November 4th.
The department’s most attended annual event, the McKetta Tailgate – held on the CPE lawn three hours before kick-off - is part of our broader Alumni Weekend celebration where alumni, current students, faculty & staff come together for a weekend of food, fellowship and fun.

- Academy of Distinguished Chemical Engineers Annual Banquet - Friday, November 3
- McKetta Tailgate - Saturday, November 4
Chevron’s support provides food and drinks for more than 300 attendees and sponsors our department’s highly coveted Tailgate Tees - this year the winning design was voted on through our social channels and will be revealed at the tailgate against Kansas State. Chevron recruiters will be at the Tailgate to mix and mingle with students.
