Hildebrandt Ruiz Research Group Teams Up With NASA For Air Pollution Study

Assistant Professor Lea Hildebrandt Ruiz and her research team have joined forces with NASA and 30 other research groupsĀ  to run an intense flight and ground-based air quality measurement campaign in Houston, Texas this September.

Assistant Professor Lea Hildebrandt Ruiz was interviewed as an air quality expert in YNN’s coverage of the recent compost fire at the Hornsby Bend bio-solids plant in Austin, Texas. She commented on possible adverse effects in humans from smoke particles produced by the fire.
